Current CEO and owner, Mr. Gene Lake, founded A. V. Lake Steel Co., Inc. in 1965. Family owned and operated, both sons Jeff and Daniel, are active in the family business. We are a franchised dealer for Butler pre-engineered steel buildings. Our experienced, qualified staff will design and engineer a building to suit any commercial or industrial need. Butler also has an excellent system for re-roofing existing buildings, both metal and conventional.

In addition, we have a complete machine and metal fabrication shop for both standard and custom construction. We specialize in fabrication of all types of structural steel, conveyor systems, steel storage tanks, chutes, racks, hoppers, and custom designed machines. Our services also include certified welding and aluminum fabrication.
